Identity Theft: Remembering Whose We Are

New Knowledge Notes Set

In a culture that is quick to label us, define us and tell us who we’re supposed to be, it’s imperative that we slow down and return to God’s Word to remember whose we are.

That’s what I love so much about these new Knowledge Notes: Identity Theft from Illustrated Faith. Kelly has created a set of topical cards that feel both timely and timeless. They’re incredibly versatile. You can tuck them into Bible pages, slip them into journal pockets or bind them together into their own little book. I made a simple paper-hinge booklet with mine and wrapped it with a piece of sari silk. Easy, meaningful and beautiful.

A Simple, Meaningful Way to Engage Scripture

The kit includes five pages of sixteen mini cards with space to pause, reflect and respond. These aren’t meant to be rushed through. They invite you to sit with Scripture, listen closely and gently untangle the voices that try to claim your identity from the One who already has.

Design Team Inspiration

The design team makes this month are such a beautiful extension of the Identity Theft theme. Sydney (@aredeemedrose) used her Knowledge Notes in her WIDSIOPOSA book, and her handwriting alone is a quiet act of worship. Each page feels like a thoughtful study in God’s Word. I also love how she pulled in coordinating ephemera from some of Kelly’s earlier kits, letting old favorites find new life alongside these notes and creating a layout that feels layered, intentional and deeply personal. Sherri (@sherriluvsles) took a different but equally lovely approach by turning her notes into the most adorable mini book. Look at that teal stitching! She then carried the theme straight into Scripture by journaling through Matthew 4 in her Illustrating Bible, tying it all together seamlessly. That’s the magic of Kelly’s creations. Everything works together, inviting you to dive into God’s Word in ways that are both meaningful and wonderfully creative.
