That’s exactly what Kelly Bangs has invited us into with her brand-new Write It Down. Stick It On. Pray Over It. Say Amen. (WIDSIOPOSA) book for Illustrated Faith, and I honestly couldn’t be more excited to start this year-long creative journey together.
Kelly just launched the WIDSIOPOSA Essentials Kit, along with the January kit, A Fresh Start and friends, it’s already stirring so much beautiful creativity.

Making It Your Own
One of my favorite parts of this whole project is how personal it’s already becoming.
I found the perfect vintage McCall’s sewing book from the 1960s and immediately knew it needed to become my own WIDSIOPOSA junk journal. I cannot wait to stuff it full of Kelly’s vintage-inspired girls, layered papers, prayers scribbled in the margins, and all the beautiful mess that happens when faith meets creativity.
And I’m not alone
The makers are already hard at work setting up their books, and seeing their ideas has been incredibly inspiring:
Amy from @scripture.scribbler created the best disc-bound system so she can slip custom pieces into her book as she goes. Genius and practical.
Sydney from @aredeemedrose is still deciding between two pretty-in-pink options, and honestly, there’s no wrong choice there.
Laura from @faith.flowers.fabric added the most gorgeous embroidery details to her pages. I absolutely love how her stitching adds texture and intention to every spread.
This is the kind of project that grows richer when we do it together. Sharing ideas. Cheering each other on. Letting creativity flow in community.
