Faith, Fun, and a Little Bit of Glow: Creating with Ain’t No Ghost + Hey BOO
Kelly launched the most adorable new set for Illustrated Faith for Halloween last week, and I am absolutely glowing over it! Ain’t No Ghost Like the Holy Ghost is the perfect way to add a fun, faith-filled twist to the season. This set is full of bright colors, playful characters, and encouraging messages—ideal for anyone who wants to shine their light a little extra this October. I think it pairs perfectly with glow-in-the-dark paints, glitter, and anything that sparkles!
The moment I saw the kit, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Every year, my church hosts a Trunk or Treat event for the community, and Kelly’s set instantly felt like the perfect fit for my trunk theme. Since the kit includes both PDFs and PNGs, it was super easy to clip out the pieces, enlarge them, print them in sections, and tape them together. I even mirrored a few of the designs so I could create three-dimensional pumpkins and candy—stuffed with shredded paper for extra shape and texture.
To finish it off, I’ll be adding LED lights and handing out glow sticks with my candy. Let’s just say, Trunk-Or-Treat is going to be a glow-rious night!
